Does John Kerry have credibility when it comes to Climate Change?

Posted at: 2015-03-12
It seems like he's done a lot of work to promote consciousness and accountability. What is people's problem with him?

He has a lot of credibility with the advocates of CC. So did Al Gore. Once Al was proven a fraud they threw him under the bus.

John Kerry is a numbskull. He has proven that in the past. So he promotes consciousness. So do snake oil salesmen. And does he really promote accountability? President Obama just gave $1 billion to a 'Climate Resilience Fund". What for? Will there be an accounting for that? No! In December of 2012 President Obama gave the UN $100 billion for Global Warming. Where did that money go? How did that money help GW or anything else?

This is from the COP report, you can look it up yourself.

"A separate pool of funding to finance national coordinating bodies through a direct line item in the secretariat’s budget shall be established. Such support shall not be subject to measurement, reporting and verification."

One thing is definitely clear, there is no accountability.

The only accountability that Kerry wants is for the peons of the world to be accountable for creating a disaster that is a myth. So that the US and other nations will give up their sovereignty and enslave mankind.

Quote by UN's Commission on Global Governance: "The concept of national sovereignty has been immutable, indeed a sacred principle of international relations. It is a principle which will yield only slowly and reluctantly to the new imperatives of global environmental cooperation."

Quote by David Shearman, an IPCC Assessor for 3rd and 4th climate change reports: "Government in the future will be based upon . . . a supreme office of the biosphere. The office will comprise specially trained philosopher/ecologists. These guardians will either rule themselves or advise an authoritarian government of policies based on their ecological training and philosophical sensitivities. These guardians will be specially trained for the task."

Quote from the UN's Own "Agenda 21": "Effective execution of Agenda 21 will require a profound reorientation of all human society, unlike anything the world has ever experienced a major shift in the priorities of both governments and individuals and an unprecedented redeployment of human and financial resources. This shift will demand that a concern for the environmental consequences of every human action be integrated into individual and collective decision-making at every level."

Are4 you ready to be reorientated? I am not.

I wouldn't know without a few links. I do know that from what I have read from various sources, it is real. People can burry their heads in the sand; but the fact is, man truly has brought ruin to the earth. With that said, they will have to pay the price for it. The entire bible is beneficial to investigate, but this article is simple and from Nasa: http://www.nasa.gov/topics/earth/feature...

This explains a few things and why anyone would want to be a part of this world, I am clueless: http://www.cnn.com/2012/05/31/politics/w...

No, In July 1997 Kerry joined his Senate colleagues in voting against ratification of the Kyoto Treaty on global warming without greenhouse gas emissions, his subsequent protesting of Bush environmental policies is just politics. [1]

Full disclosure, I have not voted in ANY election in over 20 years.

@ graphicconception, as if we do not get sufficient association fallacies as it is..

James Hansen may or may not have endorsed John Kerry, a quick search shows only right wing blogs make this claim. While I am waiting for a credible link, lets assume James Hansen did get bribed into endorsing John Kerry, if he did it did not prevent him protesting the environmental policies of the current administration. [2] Interestingly Teresa Heinz is not the only person who got annoyed with the stupidity that is so proudly displayed in the GOP [3] and she was registered republican until her husband decided to run for president, to avoid questions. [3] The great party party that helped to abolish slavery has gone downhill to the point where I sometimes wonder if the "G" today stands for "Geriatric" rather then "Grand".

Kerry did a much better job of Secretary of State than Hillary. I had to give him some credit when he tried to stop Assad in Syria but the whole administration is so bumbling and incompetent, America has become a laughingstock as an enemy and an unreliable friend. Kerry, like most Dims, continually throws Israel under the bus while they coddle terrorists and Mullahs. Kerry science knowledge is probably next to zero.

Dook can keep Nixon and Ford. Both aren't fit to shine Reagan's shoes. Republicans have included many horrible leaders. Some like Nixon who introduced price controls were worse than some of the stupidest democrats today.

I don't follow American politics unless it impinges on Climate Change so all I can contribute is:

"Hansen, the director of the agency's Goddard Institute for Space Studies, received a $250,000 grant from the charitable foundation headed by former Democrat Presidential candidate John Kerry's wife, Teresa Heinz.

Subsequent to the Heinz Foundation grant, Hansen publicly endorsed John Kerry for president in 2004, a political endorsement considered to be highly unusual for a NASA scientist."

My understanding is that as well as "unusual" it might also be illegal for a publicly paid individual to do such a thing. I don't suppose the money influenced him one way or the other.

Lurch is a joke just like the rest of the warmunist leftist libtards. He owns five mansions and a yacht and he goes out to Indonesia and pays tribute to the Muslims then lectures the poor people there about the climate change hoax.

Kerry is a Democrat, so reflexive nitwits who call themselves Republican (but who have little clue about the Party of Eisenhower, Nixon, Ford and even Reagan, or much of a clue about anything else actually) throw whatever mud they can.

Hard to be more specific than that without a link or more info. Kerry, like most politicians who have been around a while has his share of "baggage," but I am unaware on any particular incident or issue lately that would be legitimate grounds for bashing.

It is off topic, of course, but I am happy to let JimZ worship Reagan alone. Nixon had more intelligence in the finger of one hand than Auschwitz liberator Reagan had in his whole frame, even when all marbles were still upstairs), but I won't try to compare wage and price controls with Iran Contra or the quadrupling of the national debt. None of these were truly great leaders anyway, except arguably Ike; they only seem like inspirational and amazing heroes in comparison to more recent counterparts, such as the incompetent misfits who disgraced American politics during the interminable and pointless Republican presidential primary debates two+ years ago.

No he has no credibility. He just likes the idea of telling others what to do while he buys a new yacht, and then registers it in Rhode Island to avoid paying taxes.

He has none I remember him on the news saying crazy things

at his hearings in the 1970s .

He is a upper class twit

Same thinking as Al Gore. He doesn't understand that climate science doesn't have a clue about our climate.

http://www.businessweek.com/articles/201...

" ... “Not one of our better forecasts,” admits Mike Halpert, the Climate Prediction Center’s acting director. The center grades itself on what it calls the Heidke skill score, which ranges from 100 (perfection) to -50 (monkeys throwing darts would have done better). October’s forecast for the three-month period of November through January came in at -22. Truth be told, the September prediction for October-December was slightly worse, at -23. ... "

Climate science doesn't have a clue!!!

It seems like he's done a lot of work to promote consciousness and accountability. What is people's problem with him?

Zero credibility from the Catholic who advocates abortion..
