Yes they should, at least in this case. To do otherwise reduces Australia to the level of a third world nation, and signals to businesses that Australia uses mob rule rather than British law and order. Why invest money there if you know it can be taken away on a whim? The business should have been told before hand to stay away, not after they sent all the money to send the ship to Australia. At the least, they should be provided compensation.
Definitely not. the damage to the sea bed they cause is huge, and takes years to recover.
If they are talking about 'mid water' trawling, then I am not as concerned, but if they anticipate bottom trawling, then I would not be very receptive.
