Lake Michigan is cold. Not surprising since GLOBAL temperatures are dropping.
It's been cooling for at least 12 years.

The nature works on a very fine balance of ecosystem. Global warming does not mean that your ocean or lakes will get hotter, atleast not big water bodies like lake Michigan. During global warming the average temperature of the atmosphere will go up by 1-3 degrees and that's big enough to cause a havoc... So you might not see a noticeable change in temperature but u will see the ecosystem going off balance due to the slight increase in temperature...
It's called global warming, not Lake Michigan warming.
