Climate chge.Release of methane from Polar Caps is more serious than CO2.Explain why no ccord. effort on this?

The Medieval period was warmer than now, and it didn't happen then so why should it now. and as we are entering a colder period I don't think we need worry about it.

We are in a position where we can reduce and maybe eliminate our CO2 emissions, to slow down GW. The Methane we will be facing from the Arctic, Greenland Ice Sheets and Russian Permafrost, however, is a different story. By reducing our collective carbon footprint and moving swiftly toward alternative fuels for our vehicles and power production, Solar and Wind generated electricity.

This begins with car pooling and consolidating trips to save gas, walking or biking short distances and maybe taking the bus one day a week to work. Turning the heat down, turning the AC up, turning the fridge down. Use charcoal less and put it our with water instead of letting it burn down to ash

Methane is @ 23 times as strong a greenhouse gas as CO2 and contributes heavily to GW, but not to the extent that CO2 is causing now. There are hopes that the Permafrost melt will open up rich oil fields. I see this as a sad thing that will only make GW worse than it already is.

Methane from the polar regions would be a positive feedback to the warming induced by carbon dioxide. Therefore, to prevent the release of that methane, reduce emissions of carbon dioxide.

Typical scare tactic based on assumptions. The planet is not "out of balance". Climate scientists who alarm people with this stuff are the only ones "out of balance".

The whole planet's average temperature can change by 1 whole degree Celsius on its own in one year (1997-1998) according to climate scientists and yet alarmists can claim intelligence on the matter. It's hard to be impressed by an increase of 0.75 C rise in average temperature over a 130 year period (0.058 C per decade) and attribute it to human causation. 130 out of 5,000,000,000? What's that percentage? Are we really talking about the whole climate changing and a "runaway effect"?

If it wasn't for global warming -- Chicago would still be under a mile of ice.

Fortunately, Cro Magnon people learned how to make fire -- the smoke from their campsites melted the glaciers.
