Will Global warming and coastal errosion effect swedens islands near stockholm?

Erosion happens but there is NO **man-made** Global Warming and there has never been any.

What global warming? It's been cooling for at least 12 years according to HadCrut3 & HadCrut4 is nearly flat. http://www.woodfortrees.org/plot/hadcrut...

According to RSS Satellite data there has been no warming for almost 18 years.

Global warming might actually help the Stockholm archipelago keep its present sea levels. As crash says, the land there is rising (has been rising since the end of the last Ice Age), so rising sea levels caused by global warming will tend to keep the sea levels more or less where they are now.

Coastal erosion will not happen there - it's rocky, and there are almost no coastal currents.

I haven't looked, but Sweden appears to be pretty rocky.

I suspect that those islands aren't flat sand bars.

In which case, even some sea level rise is not likely to affect them a lot.

Due to isostatic rebound, sea levels in that area appear to be steadily falling but actually its due to the land steadily rising.

When Stockholm was first founded, the Baltic sea ran far west into the interior of Sweden but by the 12th century the rising land cut off that part of the Baltic & it became a fresh water lake called lake Malaren.

As the land continues to rise faster than the coast is eroding, Islands will continue to get larger & higher above apparent sea level.

This is not as much of a problem in modern times as it was for the seafaring Vikings who liked to have their villages on edge of the sea.

They had to move their villages every generation or so to avoid becoming land locked.

Yes

Yes it will

Global warming is not a myth and the whole world is getting warmer with this has different effects with the North pole and Alaska BEING the first and fastest to be effected sea levels riseing causing all manar of problems very sad. I do wonder how sweden will be effected they say it's the opposite effect with the erosion of the coast from the baltic sea it will make Sweden rise up and the highest mountain in southern Sweden BECOME EVEN HIGHER THAN IT IS. How will all this effect Sweden many beautifull islands on the coast and inland?

Nope
