What happened to this Global Warming?

Posted at: 2015-03-12
The man made global warming hoax is to get control of the people and fulfill the UN world dictatorship goal.

only the clueless, gullible, weak minded liberal, believes in man made global warming.

do u know difference between day to day weather and global climate? And yes u r right. Some areas have very low temp while some very high! And that is exactly what global warming does! Actually by now we should have another ice age!!!!!!!!!! But due to global warming its not happening. If there was no global warming, the next ice age would have been very near!!So imagine! Ice age happen after about 10,000 yrs, and we are very near to exceed these 10,000 yrs !! But temperatures have remained same!Infact, it has INCREASED!So Global warming is really in effect!Ofcourse the thing abt Ice Age is not 100% accurate. But we have enough prove to say global warming is in effect And if u wanna more simple answer, check out India temp. Its 48 degree Celsius here in May. Also check our Sahara,Namib,Atacama, Arzona. And please remember. Europe and America are not the entire world.:)

The standard answer is global warming is not evenly warming the globe. It drives larger weather patterns which result in more common larger weather patterns pushing around hot and cold air. Thus polar vortexes, etc.

Another answer is that the most popular models used for prediction are inaccurate. We may colllectively have a better idea what is going on, but still obviously can't predict daily weather patterns, so the most detailed models are still innacurate.

Do we have an effect on atmospheric CO2 content, yes. Huge? Sort of. It is a little hard to get exact numbers compared to changes in volcanic vent emissions and reduction in oceanic absorbtion, etc.

Whatever the result and whatever the prediction, it's a good idea to use less energy whenever possible. Simple.

The globe has been warming quite a bit since the last ice age. Don't expect a sudden stop in that. Is it a bad thing? That depends how much you need to maintain the status quo.

I'm sorry but your own statement shows the narrow focus denier have "Maybe that is no part of the globe too"

You are cherry picking places that are cold, your own link gives a reason for the cold in this regional U.S. weather 'the jet stream'

globally you have nothing and you know it

the global temp for 2013 was the 4th warmest recorded

http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/sotc/global/201...

and 2014 is running (so far) warmer, (Jan-Jun) was 3rd warmest

http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/sotc/global/201...

If as you seem to want to do we just look at one month NOAA haven't released July data yet but June show a similar trend, and it shows parts of the U.S. cooler along with Central Europe and Eastern Russia, but much of the rest of the world was above average, which is of course why you only want to pick out isolated areas, rather than talk about the global situation, because you know you haven't a leg to stand on.

Such intentional efforts to shift to small scale events suggest you know you are telling fibs, rather than someone who is poorly informed and dare I say it, a 'skeptic' a real skeptic wouldn't try to play the misdirection game.

Hmmmm, it seems jim has resurrected his long lost twin brother.

Global Warming ended 11/28/2012, confirmed. Mike

The weather is all mixed up because of this warming trend. So cold showing up is not that unlikely when over all the world is seeing heat rise. This planet has had several ice ages which means there has been several heat risings as well. Of coarse we humans are making this one worse by are carbon foot prints all over the place. Large ice packs are melting and this causes cold air that is unstable to be pushed south and cause cold periods. The south pole is doing the same thing as well. This slows down the rate of heat increase but does not stop it from taking place. In the 1950's and early 60's a locale lake will freeze over so hard you could drive across it, now that lake is pretty much ice free all winter long. The swamp behind my farm was knee deep in water now the same swamp has damp spots but pretty much dry for the most part. So Global Warming is taking place, and the melting ice packs are slowing it down some; but they are not stopping it.

I wouldn’t like to estimate the number of times that the difference between weather and climate has been explained, or the difference between local and global. Surely it must have sunk in by now.

Global warming is not what happens in one small place, in one state, in one country over a period of a few days, it’s about the entire planet over long periods of time.

Of course there’s going to be instances of cold weather but if you were remotely objective you’d look at the bigger picture and compare how many cold weather events there are in comparison to hot weather events, and over a period of many years.

Skeptics absolutely detest this because it puts things into perspective and that means having to confront reality. They hate the fact that there are nine new hot weather records for every one cold weather record. It really irritates them that every one of the hottest years on record has occurred recently, they can’t abide the fact that every temperature record shows warming.

So instead they obsess about the exceptions to the rule, they focus on weather instead of climate, they look at data from one place as opposed to the whole world, they cherry pick a single year for comparison purposes. In short, anything but apply honesty and rationality.

If we apply your logic then we have to conclude that everyone in the world is shorter than they used to be and we die younger than our ancestors did. This is skeptic logic – we’re not as tall as the tallest person who ever lived therefore we’re all getting shorter, the oldest person to have lived is now dead therefore we’re all dying younger.

You mentioned record lows last year. There were 20 of them, there were 391 record highs. 6 countries recorded record lows, 39 recorded record highs. This is what’s happening in the world. It’s not carefully selected or cherry-picked data – it’s all of it, highs and lows.

"Reasonable" people that are uneducated in statistics might agree with you. In the real world, however, record lows may still occur, they just become less frequent, and record highs become more frequent. If the statistician (Raisin Caine) were here he could it explain it to you, although he probably wouldn't.

If the world becomes so warm that record lows stop occurring altogether, then things will have probably long passed the point of no return.

Zippi? Sagebrush? Yes, Sagebrush.

Gee, one night of cold weather in Bumfart Kentucky means that global warming isn't happening?

Sagebrush, don't waste our time with this nonsense. You know that is just weather. Stop trolling.

http://baltimore.cbslocal.com/2014/07/29/mild-july-temperatures-make-tie-record-lows-at-bwi/

I live in Kentucky. Last night it set an all time record low for July at 52 degrees. It beat last year's record of 54 which tied the all time low. This includes going back to when the temperature was first started to be recorded, in the 1880s.

Shouldn't reasonable people conclude that if GW was really happening that we wouldn't be setting record lows?

Another possibility is that Kentucky is not part of the globe. Also Washington D. C. and Baltimore. And of course Antarctica set some all time lows for the world last year. Maybe that is no part of the globe too.

Or maybe we should get Jimmy Hansen back to recording temperatures. He had a knack for making things hotter.

Your world must be very small, it's been record highs here such that wild fires are a significant problem, entire communities have been evacuated.

Solar radiation management has messed up the weather for sure.

Just google geo engineering get informed. There is no natural weather anymore.

Still can't see further than the end of your nose? Are you getting dumber? That hardly seems possible yet you manage it

Trevor says "Of course there’s going to be instances of cold weather but if you were remotely objective you’d look at the bigger picture and compare how many cold weather events there are in comparison to hot weather events" and I agree except in a warming world I would be surprised to see RECORD lows, and in the US this year and last year lows have exceeded highs.

seems like global cooling to me

The warmth caused the cooling. Don't you know it was that evil polar vortex and climate disruption. Weather isn't climate except of course when it is hot.

if you are confused between local weather and global climate, look up Phoenix, Arizona.

Off-topic!!!...and spam.

In the past alarmists would say "That's weather not climate you stupid denier". Now they say "That's climate change you stupid denier."

Global warming has no proof, in fact it has been disproven numerous times.

Nothing it never happened . Its imaginary
