Global Warming is the primary effect of pollution as well as the following.
1. Smog
2. Cancer
3. Lung Disease (including Lung Cancer)
4. Heart Disease
5. Hard to see through the smog when driving or for pilots or people on foot even when crossing the road.
6. Depression as the sunlight is not as visible.
7. Inability to see the Hollywood sign.
8. Higher rate respiratory diseases by far
9. Higher bus fees.
10. Diseases among animals like birds.

If you are in school, then you have not experienced any global warming as there has been no rise in temperatures in the last 17yrs.
Pollution is a huge problem (but not CO2 it is not a pollutant and is essential for all life) one of the major pollutants is plastics, plastic garbage is everywhere, even micro particles in the oceans that is disturbing the marine food chain, certain plastics contain mimic hormones causing damage in the reproductive cycle of creatures.
Then you have heavy metals like mercury and lead or PCB's from chemical factories.

This is why I hate this CO2 climate change thing, not only is it not happening but it is misdirecting us away from all the real pollution problems.
