The recent slowdown in global warming is partly natural (PDO, ENSO, a small drop in solar input) and partly human-caused (the Asian brown cloud).
We should be taking measures against the anthropogenic sources--not because global warming is a good thing, but because the pollution causing the ABC has significant negative health effects. If we could somehow keep the ABC *only* in the upper atmosphere, it would probably be, overall, a good thing, but we can't.
In other words, the pollution that's part of the reason global warming is slowing is, in and of itself, a bad thing, though it has the good side effect of slowing AGW.
No I don't think it is anthropogenic at all, more through natural cycles, and I don't think political action is good idea, it is more likely to screw up the worlds economy without having any effect on the environment.

Let us analyze what you have just stated. You assume that there is unnatural global warming and that global warming is caused by man. Furthermore, the claim is that man's manufacturing of CO2 is the cause for this unnatural warming.
CO2 has been on the rise. That is an undisputed fact. Yet the earth's warming has stopped. This fact escapes you. No political action has stopped or even slowed down the earth's concentration of CO2. That is undisputed. Yet the earth's temperature has ceased to rise during this time of CO2 rise. Now you want to take credit for stopping the earth's temperature rise when there is not even the slightest hint that man had done anything to slow it down. What did man 'politically' do to cause this 'pause' in GW?
The fact is, man does not have enough power to control the earth's temperature. The fact is that this problem of the earth's demise by a rising temperature was man made and is artificial. The fact is that this so called problem was conceived to control the masses. It is an artificial problem with an artificial solution.
