Gee Whiz! When will the people ever learn?
Life magazine of January 3, 1970, stated: “Scientists have solid experimental and theoretical evidence to support . . . predictions” such as: “In a decade, urban dwellers will have to wear gas masks to survive air pollution,” and “increased carbon dioxide in the atmosphere will affect earth’s temperature, leading to mass flooding or a new ice age.”
Now we are told that CO2 is causing the earth to warm up.

And, "The urge to save humanity is almost always only a false face for the urge to rule it."
My goodness, when are you going to wise up? Man cannot control the atmosphere. Even the eruption of a volcano, which has more power than man in all his might, can only influence the atmosphere for a short time.
It doesn't make any difference to Al Gore and his ilk whether or not the earth is cooling or heating, they can scare you and take your money and take away your liberties by this scare. Wise UP!
The Earth has three stable climates, the most stable is Snowball Earth where even the oceans are frozen, life can barely survive as blue green algae under the ice during Snowball Earth. The second most stable is the warm Earth where the poles are melted, even tropical. There are the most mass extinctions during the warm Earth phases. The least stable is what we're in now, the ice age where there is ice at the poles and on some of the land surface. Too much of a push in either direction results in a conversion to the more stable states and we've been pushing towards the warm Earth. There is a feedback mechanism that we know of which may cool things down, if enough ice melts, the thermohaline currents may stop or slow down plunging northern europe into the cold.
How is warming to cause cooling?
