There are a ton of amazing books I could recommend for you, but I'll give you one to read. ECO-SCAM buy Ronald Bailey (1992). It's short, only about170 pages and 'old' but it could have been written yesterday.
I'm not sure I'd be looking to WUWT for an explanation of "what's a scientist".
But then, I'm not an AGW denier,
or an evolution denier,
or a "preschool is beneficial" denier,
looking for something to reinforce my delusion or prejudice.
Apparently anyone who supports an agenda driven scheme to implement UN agenda 21 and a new world order.
For me a scientist is anyone who objectively studies and practices in the sciences.
