Actually, since Global Warming has been proven wrong, by science and Mother Earth herself, and the UN has rebranded the big scare to Climate Change it should be set aside or renamed.
It really should be a subcategory under politics, as my astute friend, Jeff M, points out. Now this is not just a claim by our intellectually honest partners of this site, it is backed up by logic and those environmental misfits and crooks, we affectionately call greenies. Take Jeff M's statement in particular. This originates from the statement by Christine Stewart, former Canadian Environment Minister: “No matter if the science is all phoney, there are collateral environmental benefits.... climate change [provides] the greatest chance to bring about justice and equality in the world.”
It is a well known fact that 'justice and equality' is a slogan heard at many communist inspired sit-ins, demonstrations and riots. Are we so naive to look the other way on that subject?
Then as more evidence that Global Warming is a political subject not a scientific subject, I give you this, that these environmental misfits and crooks (which we affectionately call greenies) always and only provide political solutions. Raise taxes, now that is not scientific, is it? Enact laws that take away from man's individual rights for life liberty and the pursuit of happiness, that the US Constitution and the Declaration of Independence so clearly spell out and that radical elements and governments have attempted to destroy since its conception. It is apparent, that these misfits want to do away with that and that is definitely in the realm of POLITICS.
Look at what these greenies have in store for us, if they prevail.

To put it bluntly, anyone who says that is not political is just plain nuts! Then we have high official greenies who admit to this as evidenced by this quote by Ottmar Edenhoffer, high level UN-IPCC official: "We redistribute de facto the world's wealth by climate policy...Basically it's a big mistake to discuss climate policy separately from the major themes of globalization...One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with environmental policy anymore."
Is redistribution of wealth a scientific subject or a political one? I'll let you answer that.
So in direct answer to your question: It should be done away with because it has been proven wrong, is political rather than scientific, as the title would suggest, and that even the UN doesn't recognise Global Warming anymore.
