New paper that warmers periods in the past were not just regional Global warming?

I remember it wasn't so long ago that alarmists insisted that MWP and LIA were regional (Europe) only. They did this because those proxies indicated exactly what was pointed out here, that the proxies indicated it was as warm or warmer in the past. Since this threatens alarmism, alarmists won't even consider it. Some have slowly begun to accept that MWP was global because that is becoming hard to deny but some prefer denial than facing the fact that their belief system is a house of cards.

Nope. Both papers (it's two papers, not two sources for the same paper as you claim) do not reach such a conclusion. The April 2014 paper specifically states "These records, together with the tree ring, lake sediment and literature records from the eastern China and northwest China, imply that the temperatures in recent decades do not seem to exceed the natural changes in MCA, at least in eastern Asia from northwest China to northern SCS" while the other paper proposes a similar regional conclusion, not global.

So, again, Tony Watts is wrong when he writes "Hottest year ever? Giant clam reveals Middle Ages were warmer than today" as the papers he refers to specifically studied the northern South China Sea while the 'Hottest Year Ever' claim refers to Global Average Temperatures.

now + or - 2 or three degrees means nothing , the Ice age was -50 to 100 degrees.below normal , we are not looking at this .The skier you with a 5 degree drop.

How old is the person making these claims.
