If the denier is actually a climate scientist, okay, otherwise the "debate" is a sham. Call it a circus but not a debate.
The guy in the video is a lying idiot who wouldn't last 2 minutes in a genuine debate and as for 75% of Americans being believers, well I doubt that, I would have thought 10 to 20 % was more realistic. In the UK it's probably 5%.
Still, it's good technique, keep on and on repeating the lie, ridicule anyone who examines the lack of substance in the message, just keep repeating the lie and eventually I'd bet you can even brainwash yourself.
