Morningfox the earth's magnetic field does have control of the global climate. As a retired US Navy weather plotter, I learned this.
Maybe because the Earth's magnetic field has NO effect on the global climate?
Or, ... maybe because local WEATHER forecasters aren't interested in CLIMATE? Weather is day-to-day, hour-to-hour stuff. Climate is 20 year stuff, or mostly longer.
As a reference, I have been interested in meteorology for the past sixty years when my father, a military pilot was teaching it to aviators. Since then I have sailed a lot and now, flying a light aircraft. Today it is my turn to teach meteorology to aviators.
From all I have read about maritime and aviation meteorology, I have never heard of the earth's magnetic field having any influence on the climate. I, therefore, agree with Morningfox and I'll even give him a thumb-up! ;-)
Nope. It is a hoax, designed to further a political agenda. Since the late nineties, the average temperature rise has stabilized. And, BTW, I AM NOT a Neocon.
"Even if it werent, would you want to take the chance?"
This is a common argument...and, NO, I DON'T buy it!!!
Because local weather casters don't deal with such things, it's beyond their purview
Because they have a sense of proportion.
