Only opinions, no . solutions?

Posted at: 2015-03-12
A solution is only required when there is an obvious problem.

It is too late for "solutions" only "mitigation" and "adaptation."

It is not "opinion" to say that achieving even partial "solutions" requires an understanding of the problem, and the ability to articulate clear questions about it.

Solutions to a warming climate can only come about once we have found the solution to policy makers that only have a 18th century understanding of the 21st century science. Until we remove from office these policy makers then any solution offered will be seen as unneeded, too costly, socialistic, communistic, liberal and/or against God's will.

The only real solution is to bring global CO2 emissions to zero. Anything less will merely slow the build up of atmospheric CO2. You must understand when we burn fossil fuels, we are releasing carbon that has been sequestered for millions of years.

Since the major emitteers, China and India, have no intention of even reducing their emissions, this solution will never work.

We can quibble over the science all we want, but the politics is settled.

How do you 'solve' something that is not happening?

It's been cooling for at least 12 years.

Top climate scientists say there is no man-made Global Warming.

The Great Global Warming Swindle

I hope I'm interpreting your question correctly, but if I am?

I would say that it is in the solutions and ultimate options to the problems of climate change that true sceptics should be playing their part, as it will be here that the future will unfold.

Global warming is a fact, what we do about it will involve politicians, religious leaders as well as environmentalists. Critics and sceptics will have a part to play.
