Is ndir co2 sensor allows only co2 or any other gases into it?

i used a gas sensor to detect the co2 in green house project

An NDIR CO2 sensor has an infrared light source. The infrared passes through the gas sample and then a filter, before striking the sensor. The filter blocks wavelengths that carbon dioxide does not absorb. A good one will also blog the wavelengths which carbon monoxide and water vapor absorb. The NDIR sensor will pick organic compounds with the carbonyl group, such as formaldehyde, acetone and methyl ethyl ketone, as well as compounds with the carboxyl group, such as acetic acid and butanoic acid. and compounds with the ester group, such as ethyl acetate.

A O2 sensor or CO2 sensor is an instrument for the measurement of carbon dioxide gas. The most common principles for CO2 sensors are infrared gas sensors and chemical gas sensors.

It is good enough for your use. Other molecules are measured by it. Really, what you are looking for is a ballpark figure and that will get you there.

sorry i am not interesting.
