How was Bangladesh before climate change?

Please describe Bangladesh before climate change thoroughly. I'm doing my geography assignment on climate change. Thanks so much! :))

Bangladesh was the same as it is now. It has always flooded because it is a very low lying area. So called 'climate change' has made no difference.

There is also no unusual Sea Level rise for the Maldives

Bangla Desh, the song by English musician George Harrison of the the Beatles was released in July 1971, this is during the time that 'climate science' was screeching about 'global COOLING' --- not global warming. The song was about crisis flooding in Bangladesh and the suffering of those people. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bangladesh_...

Bangladesh was about the same as it is now, even before it was Bangladesh. There has been some erosion of the part of the delta facing the ocean -- probably due more to storms than to rising ocean levels.

The question brings up an interesting question.

How do river deltas grow?

I've always thought of them as growing farther and farther out into the ocean.

However, it's possible that the rivers erode the banks along the edges of a delta,

and the growth is more on the inland side of the delta rather than on the ocean side.

This video implies that the delta grows out into the ocean.

I've recently done to same assignment I traveled to Bangladesh just under a year ago. Bangladesh is extremely vulnerable to climate change as it is near the river Ganges 90% of the run off goes to Bangladesh with Bangladeshs rising population and poverty they don't have enough money to build flood defences Bangladesh also has a period of drought season wear everything becomes dry and crops don't grow causing food shortages

dumbie climate change has always been and will all ways be. Climate change is the global warming-cooling cycle. Warming for 10,000 yr then cooling for 100,000. When one ends the other starts. Ice core data dome C shows the last 740,000 yrs with at least 4 major cycles including this one.

Bangladesh was established in 1971. Climate change came before not after that. Your teacher has made or your attention to the teacher, or to clarity in posing the question, has resulted in a multi-billion year error, or a failure to add "serious effects of anthropogenic" in front of "climate change."
