What about this article?

I got as far as, "since 1850, when instrumented temperature records became reasonably accurate and distributed in key areas of the world."

That man is a total moron, when it comes to true science. Philadelphia, for instance, didn't start taking temperatures until 1879 or 1880. Until then, there were some who unofficially took records down to 1/3 a degree F. Western Union had a haphazard, mostly voluntary, program going. But that only encompassed where the telegraph was at that time. You have to remember, the Civil War hadn't been fought in the year of 1850. Custer had not been defeated in Montana. In the US alone there were large amounts of uncovered areas, temperature monitoring wise. Now we can consider the rest of the world and you have at best, haphazard temperature collecting.

It just proves that theses so called experts live in a pipe dream. Right now, these 'experts' are debating whether the Earth's temperature is going up or going down. That is with all the sophisticated monitoring that we presently have. So to say that we don't know exactly today, with all the advanced technology, and definitely do back in 1850 with crude and un-standard technology and methodology is so insane that even the most sever pot smoker should realize that.

How much money did this fellow get paid to produce that document?

Quote by Nobel Prize Winner For Chemistry, Kary Mullis: “Global warmers predict that global warming is coming, and our emissions are to blame. They do that to keep us worried about our role in the whole thing. If we aren't worried and guilty, we might not pay their salaries. It's that simple.

Dr. Everett has been around for a while, long enough for many predictions to be shown false. For instance, he said global warming would peak in 1998, but it didn't it continues to today. Have you ever seen a website that shows Everett's articles and also rebuttals from the other side? Have you ever seen Everett in a fair debate with an expert on the other side? Do you think you woudl ever have even HEARD of Everett if he agreed with the other 99.5% of climate scientists?

I like how he says we are still enjoying the fossil fuels created when the earth was a lot hotter. Of course he doesn't mention that CO2 levels in the atmosphere were so high in those days, and oxygen so sparse, that animal life would have been impossible then.

Your bizarre and hard to follow linked page seems to be run by anti-science con men, not real scientists. Who the heck is Everett anyway? Does he have a first name? At any rate, here is what the real scientists concluded long before anti-science charlatans rushed into to endlessly recycle Exxon-Mobil-Koch lies and deceptions:

U.S. National Academy of Sciences, 2010:

“Climate change is occurring, is caused largely by human activities, and poses significant risks for a broad range of human and natural systems.”

http://www8.nationalacademies.org/onpine...

“Choices made now about carbon dioxide emissions reductions will affect climate change impacts experienced not just over the next few decades but also in coming centuries and millennia…Because CO2 in the atmosphere is long lived, it can effectively lock the Earth and future generations into a range of impacts, some of which could become very severe.”

“The Academy membership is composed of approximately 2,100 members and 380 foreign associates, of whom nearly 200 have won Nobel Prizes. Members and foreign associates of the Academy are elected in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research; election to the Academy is considered one of the highest honors that can be accorded a scientist or engineer.”

@MrS... "For instance, he said global warming would peak in 1998, but it didn't it continues to today."

That is totally dependent on which data set you use for temps. RSS and UAH satellite data shows 1998 as the hottest year on record. Most skeptics, and even a few alarmists in brief moments of lucidity, say that temps have plateaued and are below predictions

Usual denialist drivel, nothing new or true

Dr. Everett led work for the IPCC on five impact analyses from 1988-2000: Fisheries (Convening Lead Author), Polar ReIPCC Nobel Prize Recognition to John T. Everettgions (Co-Chair), Oceans (Lead Author), and Oceans and Coastal Zones (Co-Chair/2 reports). He also was a Contributing Expert in developing the IPCC Impact Assessment Methodology protocol. See IPCC Nobel Prize recognition. He was on the Board coordinating the NOAA Climate Change Research Program.
