Climate change are we facing a magnetic reversal?

Magnetic North has shifted for some time now. I remember having to adjust my ham radio antenna off of Magnetic North. Ten years later when reinstalling MN had shifted even more. As far as we know, and we know very little, it could happen in our lifetime. It would create havoc if it did.

By the time it happens people won't even remember the 21st century.

As for iceagenow, the guy is a loon. It's not hard to find the reversals. All you need is a little cube of dirt from a source you can date that has been heated so that the polarity at that time is fixed in the dirt.

The magnetic reversal has nothing to do with climate change and yes, the reversal has been happening but it would take tens of thousands of years for it to complete.

Trust Scientific American more than IceAgeNow. From the link

"The climate descended from periods of warmth such as today's into full-blown glaciation in less than twenty years."

That claim is laughable. Glacial minimum to glacial maximum takes 100,000 years.
