Appears natural disasters are rare on Greenland. Earthquakes and a tsunami would be potential natural disasters (however the low population of the country) and relative stability of the land make both of these uncommon.

Similarly, if there is a natural disaster in Greenland and noone is there, is it really a disaster?
Well during a warm period, the ice retreated a little and the Vikings settled there and had a comfortable living, then the cold and the ice returned and the Vikings disappeared, that's the only natural disaster there that I know about.
