How is this increase in taxes, suggested by the IMF, going to save the world?

To "Fight Climate Change". That's been the whole point, but the stupidity of that solution is showing up in the free market. They are currently re-capturing carbon from the atmosphere to make plastic. I wonder what they will try next if it is shown that we don't need to "send money" to the Government to solve whatever problem they think added CO2 is causing?

The IMF and the World Bank are the ones who helped cause the Industrial Boom to start with. Money Money Money. That's what they are all about. Any way they can find to control it, then they will.

461 coal plants have been closed by the Obama Administration so far and energy costs have already doubled. He did have a plan to "necessarily skyrocket" energy costs, and then there will be an added tax to that where consumers will end up paying on top of rising fuel costs. A typical liberal doesn't care that they help the poor remain poor.

How many of Obama's millionaire-billionaire he's created with our greatly improved economy will get a fee (more money directed at them) of that tax also?

it looks like yet another cost/benefit analysis that forgot to look at the benefits. Surely, that could only happen in those deciding had an agenda? Perhaps we should ban all medicine on the same basis. See the chart below.

Don't forget, we have decided amongst ourselves, yet again, that Global Warming will not be Catastrophic. So the world does not actually need saving. It therefore should follow that we do not need to spend any money doing it.

The report cleverly made the point that taxes need not be increased if you are "smart" about it. That is little more than a get out clause. When taxes, inevitably, increase they will point to that and say it was not done smartly enough - so not our fault.

Come up with a better solution? What an ignorant statement.! You could probably convince these people to ban water, oh wait that's been done. I bet you convince them to invest millions in a failing solar company, oops been there done that too. The fact is inaction is thousands of times better than any liberal action which usually ends up making the poor poorer and rich richer leaving everyone in the middle to pay.

I think there should only be one tax, 'Sales tax' all other taxes are unnecessary, money is no good to anyone if they dont spend it, we need to cut out all the beaurocracy, administration, and other wasteful sh!t.

It seems like 75% of people work in an office, and only 25% of people actually produce anything.

It isn't. The IMF's solution is always higher taxes. They will only lend money to countries if they raise their taxes, supposedly bringing deficits under control. Their real goal is to pay off the banker friends with taxpayer dollars, simultaneously taking more power over other countries' affairs. What is needed for many of those countries is a tax cut that frees up investment.

A) It will encourage people to buy more fuel efficient cars.

B) The money can be used to support renewable energy generation.

BUT, of course, you'll pick an answer that says, "It won't. Because it a liberal hoax, and a plot to raise taxes, and turn control of America over to the UN."

Every Thursday, we'll have a new Word of the Day for you! We want questions from YOU using today's featured word, "water." But first, tell us - what WOULD it take?

Its not, infact they plan on useing the money for Man Made Climate Change, since they themselves have one foot in the grave want others to pay for their suicide. Man Made Climate Change only BRINGS DEATH to ALL LIFE especially when Global warming is over with and nature is doing its best to restore our planet as it was before 1977. Global command

Here's two words to the IMF from Canada: piss off...

Increasing the cost of dumping co2 reduces 2 emmissions .

If you have. Another solution, lets have it. Denying co2 effect on climate is not an option

You failed to mention a corresponding drop in other taxes

Just how are higher energy prices going to help Climate Change. If I pay $1, to these greedy people where will that money go and what will it accomplish.

Quote by Maurice Strong, a wealthy elitist and primary power behind UN throne, and large CO2 producer: "Current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class - involving high meat intake, use of fossil fuels, appliances, air-conditioning, and suburban housing - are not sustainable."

Maurice can afford the $1, but how about the regular person who is struggling to exist? (Of course dear old Maurice will be getting richer with his portion of that $1. Prove me wrong.)

All the taxes will not change anything it will not stop droughts , thunderstorms or any weather or climate

In another one of your questions, you told us that it would only cost 7 cents a gallon to solve our problems, that sounds dirt cheap to me.
