With the pack ice expanding in the Antarctic, will global warming have to be called global cooling to fit the narrative?

And yet this will probably hottest of the instrumental record (the record using actual thermometers). Apparently there is more to the global temperature than ice in Antarctica.

Antarctica is... weird. Seriously, seriously weird. Actually, scientists anticipate *more* sea ice around Antarctica because of warming, since melting *land* ice makes the water right near Antarctica both colder and less saline, which means it freezes more easily.

However, the fact that several ice shelves have broken off suggests that there is not more ice *total* in Antarctica, just more *sea* ice.

Apparently whatever doesn't fit a narrative is to be declared weird, and the narrative itself is not to considered incorrect.

Not likely

when ice melts and you get a puddle of water, it is no

t cooling.

the volume of ice on land is still decreasing
