Science question?

a. Permafrost will thaw and create unstable ground. - It is a concern

b. The tree line boundary will change. It will, but I wouldn't consider it to be a concern.

c. The amount of moisture in Alberta will decrease. - Some places will get wetter with warming, but the relationship between moisture and temperature in Alberta tends to be the opposite.

d. The grizzly will hibernate more because they will move north. - They might move North, but I don't know if they would hibernate more or if it would be a concern if they did.

The Permafrost thing is a real issue. I've heard of it before.

The tree line boundary will eventually change due to climate change.

Decreasing amounts of moisture in Alberta is entirely possible. Or increasing. Who knows?

The Grizzly may migrate further north, but I don't think they would hibernate more though. Or if they don't migrate, then logically they should hibernate less.

D) Grizzlies can live as far south as California. They would probably stay in the same territory but hibernate less. There's a strain of black bear in Asia that doesn't hibernate at all. There's no need, everyday they can forage.

D is the obvious choice, but C is incorrect, there is no reason to expect a decrease in moisture in Alberta, in fact an increase is more likely.

If Grizzlies had to move north due to warming, there is no reason to believe they would have to hibernate longer because it is warming. Pretty easy logic there.

It isn't about science. Unfortunately, you have been propagandized.

D is the only one I have not heard of relating to climate change

D is definitely the correct answer

b.The tree line boundary will change.

d

Which of the following is not a concern of climate change

Select one:

a. Permafrost will thaw and create unstable ground.

b. The tree line boundary will change.

c. The amount of moisture in Alberta will decrease.

d. The grizzly will hibernate more because they will move north.
