Environment, climate change are instruments for global governance?

Posted at: 2015-03-12
It is a demand to finally implement the non binding policies of UN agenda 21 considering the failure of the copenhagen climate treaty failure in 2009.

AGW action has never been about saving the environment. It's just the latest concocted crisis being employed to implement the tyrannical orwellian new world order governed by unelected elitists designed to redistribute wealth, restrict basic human freedoms. Their primary purpose is to weaken or even dissolve the sovereignty of nations and nation states by granting the new world government such powers. Read UN agenda 21 to see the true nature of what they call 'sustainable development.' Imaging being told having a baby is illegal.

Also I do believe the climate is changing because it always has changed in the past and always will change in the future. Mankind cannot control it and to think it can is pure vanity. I believe AGW theory is just the latest fraud in a 40 year history of frauds used in an attempt to implement a new world order such as agenda 21. Also note that this transcends beyond my political party affiliation as it was G H Bush which signed onto that non binding UN crap in 1992.

The bizarre world inhabited by anti-science disinformationist Wattsup Copy Cat Mike and pretend geologist JimZ:

- The UNEP has a thousand employees and is a bloated corrupt autocratic bureaucracy.

- Exxon-Mobil has 80 thousand employees who are hard working individual entrepreneurs oppressed by carbon taxes.

Wow holy **** global governance that is terrifying!

Let's do everything we can to prevent global governance. We should probably start by working to dismantle the institutions already in place- the World Trade Organisation, International Monetary Fund, World Bank etc before we worry about stuff that hasn't happened yet.

What are you going to do to stop the WTO Mike? I'm thinking you could ask a bunch of questions in the economics section. You could also try searching the blogs and web pages which publish negative info about the WTO and reposting what you find as questions. I'm sure if you are bothered by "global rules on corporate accountability and liability" then the WTO will be high on your hit list since they already enforce international laws in terms of what corporations can and cannot do, and worse still they impose those laws on sovereign nations eg the European Union was sued through the WTO by corporations from Canada, South America and the US for refusing to buy their GM crops.

This kind of thing must have you laying awake at night in fear given that it has been in place for almost two decades now. Good luck in your fight against the WTO Mike.

>>If this not a global governance proposal, then what is it?<<

It's ********. Take a look around. The only thing the children of Abraham - Jews, Christians, and Muslims - have in common is a hatred of humanity (including each other then even their own kind) and a fondness for sadistic torture and whacking-off the body parts of nonbelievers.

America was in Iraq for 5 years and never even controlled the road to the Goddamn Baghdad airport. England, France, and Germany have fought wars that lasted longer than most countries have existed. Russia killed itself over Afghanistan. (I have a friend in Yekaterinburg whose teenage sons play video games where the object is to kill Nazis - Russians are still a little pi-sed about that whole Eastern Front thing in WW II).

India and Pakistan have fought 3 wars in the last 60 years over Kashmir - and the issue still isn't resolved. Iran has been battling Kurdish separatists since 1918 and the (Kurdish) PKK has been terrorizing Turkey since the 1980s - even as Turkey and Greece continue their 50-year long dispute over Cyprus.

And then there is the biologically/genetically cohesive, but culturally dysfunctional, Jewish-Palestinian relationship. If two brothers refuse to cooperate with each other - for thousands of years - the idea of global governance is delusional.

The UN is a "sock puppet" of the Global Monetary Elites. The IP CC is a "sock puppet" of the UN. They guide their agenda with emotions and complicated information. It's easy to lead people astray by using these against them. If people can find the fortitude to investigate without a biased outlook based on unfounded information, then we can continue to move forward and expand our knowledge and understanding of how things work better for all. We don't need a controlling body of Elites to tell us what we need to do. Most people have a sympathetic conscience and can reason things through without detrimental effects to others. People only ask that their rights be protected from tyrannical organizations and that Governments do their jobs and help people govern themselves and not "rule" over them.

Why do we not just start with this, Mike:

"The contents of this magazine do not necessarily reflect the views or policies of UNEP or the editors, nor are they an official record. The designations employed and the presentation do not imply the expressions of any opinion whatsoever on the part of UNEP concerning the legal status of any country, territory or city or its authority or concerning the delimitation of its frontiers or boundaries." - (Bottom of page 2 from your link)

I see that you are still making the rounds to try to cherry pick articles and studies to advance your ideological based denial industry puppet status. Why is that you never discuss the science behind the AGWT? I know why, but do you want to tell everyone else as to why you never discuss the actual science?

You have already made the statement that you cannot think of anything within the Laws of Physics, The Laws of Thermodynamics or The Laws of Chemistry that would allow us to increase the level of CO2 into the atmosphere without it warming our planet beyond the natural variations of our climate. You know this, yet you persist in your denial industry tactics of misdirection and misrepresentation of the science. When will you have considered that you will have "won" your ideologically based war on science, Mike? Will it be when the climate has reached a final tipping point that makes any efforts towards mitigation fruitless? There are no mechanisms available to us to reverse the rapidly declining Arctic sea ice now, Mike. This alone will alter the weather patterns around the world. So, just when do you think you will have "won" your ideological based war on science? ... Even with all of the science based evidence placed at your disposal you cling to your mindless rantings that has absolutely nothing to do with the science itself. You are a puppet of the denial industry, Mike and you even lack the emotional desire to cut the strings that bind you. ... How sad and how pathetic this is!

Ottawa Mike - I answered your question with the disclaimer that was in the paper you linked. NO! The environment and climate change are NOT about global governance!

I am self employed and work in the IT industry. I manage networks/ severs/ workstations/ printers/ smart phones and basically anything that plugs into the wall and pertains to data.

I am not a member of any environmental groups and I am an Independent voter. I actually oppose Greenpeace and The Sierra Club for their methods of doing business. I strongly oppose the Koch brothers for their attempts to manipulate governments and to silence the voice of the people!

So, what I am doing here? I have children, grandchildren and a great grandchild on the way. I am here for them. I am here to try to help secure a better planet for their benefit. What are you here for? Are you so misguided that you think you are protecting your own self interests?

Along with the environmental issues comes the fact that fossil fuels are a finite resource. Should you fail to help convert to renewable energy sources before fossil become too cost prohibitive to use (note the prices at the pumps), then you have helped to put everyone on the most direct and assured path of economic collapse. ... Yet, you are too involved with your own self interests to even realize this. ... You do not do much forward thinking, do you?

It's pretty hard to argue against the UN wanting "Global Governance" when they say they want "Global Governance" but someone Rolando does it.

@Rolando... How is that unscientific and UNPLISHED Lewandowsky study coming along? Hey, he did post it on his website so it mus be true. I'd be embarrassed to reference it but that's just me :-)

Let's see how mentally stable Lewandowsky seems to be.

The UN like all government bureaucracies grows larger and more bloated all the time. It has become dominated by autocratic countries. When you have countries like Iran heading committees for human rights, it becomes a mockery that you couldn't even make up if you wanted to. It is largely anti-western except when trolling for funds and is antisemitic. AGW is largely them trolling for funds. I read an article on the new Power of the Seas (forgot the exact name) Treaty and it is scary the amount of power that the UN would usurp. They would tax all offshore drilling among other things. Of course it would be used to redistribute income which leftist push but of course it would end up fattening the wallets of a few corrupt bureaucrats and dictators. The UN is a sewer and everyone just holds their nose and pretends they can't smell it.

The UN was an attempt to find solutions to international disputes in the threat of nuclear armed opponents, rightly or wrongly, it is explicitly exempt from being involved in the domestic affairs of any nation. And the invasion of Iraq because that ******* Sadam was killing his own people was illegal under the convention.

Now while you might like it warmer over there, it does not give you the right to increase the temperature world wide just because it is "better" for YOUR economy and comfort while saddling other nations tax payers with the cost for the problems you cause. Grow up and take some responsibility for your own actions.

Edit;

The previous answerer is a perfect example that confirms the study that climate change deniers are either extreme free marketeers or conspiracy theorists, as is the one following mine. Thank you both ;)

The following comes from the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) in it's latest publication which included a two page article by Kumi Naidoo, head of Greenpeace International and Daniel Mittler, Political Director, Greenpeace International.

"Rio+20 should indeed have been the place where UNEP finally became a proper UN Environment Agency, as many, including the African and European Unions, demanded in the final plenary discussion session. Sustainable development governance needs a global authority for the environment, with greatly enhanced implementation, compliance and enforcement mechanisms."

"... giving UNEP the tools needed to effectively monitor implementation of multilateral environmental agreements – and to impose sanctions on those breaking the rules."

"As well as a UN Environment Agency with real powers, we need global rules that change power dynamics and investment incentives. Global rules on corporate accountability and liability, for example, are essential to ensure that damaging people and the environment is no longer a free for all, but has real costs. At the Johannesburg Earth Summit in 2002, governments acknowledged the need for global rules for global corporations."

"A binding global instrument that ensures full liability for any social or environmental damage global

corporations cause must therefore remain high on any governance reform list."

"We must thus strive for a true transformation of global governance that puts people and planet at the

centre of all decision making." http://www.unep.org/pdf/OP-FEB-EN-2013.pdf

It is often stated here that global governance is a conspiracy theory. If you read the above it includes keywords like: "global rules", "global authority", "enforcement mechanisms", "impose sanctions", "real powers" and "a true transformation of global governance".

If this not a global governance proposal, then what is it?
