Does your question relate to ice-ages or to the video you’ve posted?
Ice-ages take about 83,000 years to develop, they’re a cyclical event and are a consequence of changes in the obit of Earth around the Sun. The temperature swing across a full ice-age cycle is 7°C with cooling occurring at a rate of approx 1°C every 12,000 years and warming at a rate of approx 1°C every 2,000 years across the 12,000 year warning period.
Your video on the other hand is a documentary looking at the outcome of a scenario in which the Gulf Stream fails.
Should such a thing happen then the transport of warm Tropical waters from the Caribbean to northwestern Europe would cease. The UK and Ireland would cool by 7°C, there would be cooling on a less pronounced scale across all of northwestern Europe and to a lesser extent along the eastern seaboard of the US, Greenland and southwestern Europe.
Such an outcome is one possible consequence should meltwater from the Arctic disrupt the flow of the Gulf Stream. Given that ocean currents are driven by temperature and salinity gradients then this is a possibility. Some disruption to the Gulf Stream and larger global Thermohaline Circulation is an inevitability but to what extent they’ll be affected is unknown.
The worst case scenario is that the Gulf Stream stops, and if that happens there is nothing we can do about it. There would be no option but for hundreds of millions of people to either migrate or adapt to a significantly colder climate.
This is why you should never use youtube as a source for ANYTHING. Earths temperature has NOT risen over 10 C in 70 years. If it had, we'd mostly all be cooked right now.

We exaggerate our own importance beyond reality. However, the IPCC wants you to believe that they can indeed save you, and from your worst nightmares. They didn't mention the Gulf Stream, but they have willing accomplices, "journalists" who thrive on fearmongering.
