The last 18 years is significantly greater than historical global mean temperature at > 99.99999…%. The probability is less than flipping a coin and getting ‘heads’ 18 times in a row – that is ? X ? X …X ? 18 times. Unless you can provide an alternative physical cause to AGW that includes an explanation of how and why the atmospheric physics of the planet have suddenly changed and there is no additional heat being stored as potential energy, quit lying about your knowledge.
It depends on what the data says. If the data supported natural variation, that's what the scientists would say.

Haven't I seen this question before? well I would probably still be believing in global warming, instead of the skeptic I am now, although it would still not be proof of global warming, as we need to look at the background causes before we decide anything.
