Anything related to global warming can get lots of money for the short to medium term. Longer term countries may wise up and start cutting back on funding.

If your grades are good, there is nothing wrong with your background. You will probably need to make up some coursework in meteorology that you have missed out on, but that shouldn't be too difficult. One of my best friends got her master's degree in chemical engineering, but did fine in a climate science Ph.D. program. Remote sensing is a great think to have a strong background in, since climate science is so dependent on it.

Do you really think there is climate change in India. Do you have a great grandmother that suggests it was cooler when she was a girl? I doubt it and if she did she was probably mistaken. Climate Change is little more than a mechanism for the state to extract money from citizens and other countries if you happen to live in a poor one.

Maybe you should contact these guys or something similar: http://www.uah.edu/science/departments/a...

You could also email an expert in remote sensing who is a climate scientist at UAH: roy@drroyspencer.com or christy@nsstc.uah.edu

Hello Friends,

Well I'am pursuing my Masters in Geoinformatics and Surveying Technology.I've subjects like Remote Sensing and it's applications,Photogrammetry and Of course GIS & Surveying.

I am willing to do research in Remote Sensing Application in Climate Change. But the problem here is I've done my bachelor(B.Tech) in Mechanical and thus there being no coherence in what I plan to do in future.Kindly suggest if going for RS application in Climate change will be a good idea as I am really interested in Climate Change
