Do you sometimes worry about climate change/global warming?

I see that the intellectual giants are out again. EG:

James "We are due for plummetting into an ice age"

Kano "I hope we get some (warming), but at the moment cooling looks more likely"

(uh huh)

Simon Howell "if a volcano erupts it put out more smoke the all the cars in the world in one day"

"we can't control pollution. "

(What does the air look like around you? As compared to:

https://www.google.com/search?q=Beijing+...

And, volcanoes emit rock dust, not smoke, and CO2, which we can't see, but is apparently what he's referring to.

http://hvo.wr.usgs.gov/volcanowatch/arch...

"(Annually, volcanoes emit) 200 million tonnes of CO2 (but) the global fossil fuel CO2 emissions for 2003 tipped the scales at 26.8 billion tonnes. Thus, not only does volcanic CO2 not dwarf that of human activity, it actually comprises less than 1 percent of that value. "

I am sufficiently concerned that I have solar panels. They won't pay for themselves, but it is the right thing to do. I'm old, and so won't likely see the worst effects, however, if you're young, America's ignoring the problem for so long will cost lots of money, and probably cause wars as well. You're right to be concerned.

EDIT: Andrew "Now I am thinking, how in hell they can predict the freaking climate if they can't predict one day weather... =D "

Well, if you flip a coin, you have a 50% chance of guessing where it'll be heads.

If you flip a coil 10 times, you'll have a 2/3 chance of getting 4-5-6 heads.

Sometimes, using a larger sample makes it easier to figure the outcome.

However, around here, the weather report is correct more than 90% of the time.

Clearly people like to complain.

But saying that weather predictions are often wrong just isn't the case.

In which case, your denigration of climate predictions is also wrong.

James "We are due for plummetting into an ice age"

If you're so good, how 'bout a stock market pick?

Kano "I dont worry about warming I hope we get some, but at the moment cooling looks more likely and that will hurt. "

Posted many times. Never with any science to back it up.

Kano "climate change policies harming economies, with climate change hysteria, allowing propaganda to rule, and democracy to die. "

BB "Catastrophic, Man-caused, global warming has been exposed as a shameless Hoax. "

Actually not.

Yeah, I do. Like let say today. They tell us in weather forecast that it will be cooler today than yesterday. In real world it was as hot, if not hotter than yesterday. Now I am thinking, how in hell they can predict the freaking climate if they can't predict one day weather... =D

I think they have took worst future teller classes ever... =D

So no, I don't give a fuke what Al Gore and his friends tell... =D

yes i am worry about any climate change are very world problem.there are verious causes global warming population, poullution uneducated people.

Nope. Catastrophic, Man-caused, global warming has been exposed as a shameless Hoax.

I worry about it getting colder. We are due for plummetting into an ice age

Yes, I worry about global warming.

No because there's nothing we can do about it think about it if a volcano erupts it put out more smoke the all the cars in the world in one day what I'm trying to say is no matter what we can't control pollution.

I think we are screwing up the world right now, with climate change policies harming economies, with climate change hysteria, allowing propaganda to rule, and democracy to die.

No I dont worry about warming I hope we get some, but at the moment cooling looks more likely and that will hurt.

in the future I mean?

I heard about Michael Moyer, an editor at Scientific American (about his tweet on Fox News) that he wanted to say that in 50 years, climate change will be a trend. But what worries me the most is that will we be in danger when climate change and global warming happens? will it be the end of the world as we know it? (so to speak)
