Do any Russian scientists disagree that global warming is the result of man made CO2.?

The majority of Russian scientists disagree with global warming and some are predicting a little ice age.

Yes I could do a search and post lots of names but then I would be accused of cherry picking, I can remember quite a few, but because of their damn Russian names remembering how to spell them is hard.

Dr. Habibullo Abdussamatov the head of th

Astronomical Observatory, a man at the pinna

cle of Russia’s space-oriented scientific

establishment, is a strong critic of manmade CO2

Two climate change sceptics, who believe the dangers of global warming are overstated, have put their money where their mouth is and bet $10,000 that the planet will cool over the next decade.

The Russian solar physicists Galina Mashnich and Vladimir Bashkirtsev have agreed the wager with a British climate expert, James Annan.

as driving global warming.

I'd be very surprised if no Russian scientists disagree with CO2-caused global warming, there are tens of thousands of scientists in Russia and the only way they'd all agree on something would be if the government mandated that they agree.

However, I seriously doubt Kano's claim that the "...majority of Russian scientists disagree with global warming" and would ask him to either retract his claim or produce evidence to support it. You'll find that among earth scientists the vast majority believe that manmade greenhouse gas emissions are causing global warming. This has been demonstrated in multiple polls, as well as in position statements from most of the world's scientific societies. You can see a list of societies here

and this apparently includes the Russian national academy of science.

EDIT for your Additional Details: Based on what? Although based on the past history of earth science in Russia, it wouldn't be too surprising--they denied plate tectonics long after it was accepted around the world, because one of the leading Russian scientists didn't believe it.

EDIT for Kano: Challenged to support your assertion about the scientific majority in Russia, you managed to produce all of 3 names. The Russian National Academy has about 500 members, and agrees that manmade global warming is occurring. Going to retract your statement now, or just keep making things up that you can't actually find support for?

I am sure there are, but Russia being a socialist government, GW politically is a plan of the west to put Russia off balance. Russia's paranoia is legendary, after 6 Million killed in WWII fighting. That spurred their determination to absorb Poland, Yugoslavia, and Czechoslovakia as buffers for their borders.

However, the governments attention was drawn to GW as a result of the devastating heat wave of 2010

Basically, all scientists agree that global warming is a side effect of human behavior; all except those mostly American scientists who are on the payroll of the oil companies.
