Are Y!A's new regulations akin to President Obama giving away the internet?

Not giving away the internet, according to the alarmists. Looks like they should be called deniers.

You are lying again, President Obama is not giving the internet away.

But lets try and rescue the question (even though it has nothing to do with AGW) and have a look what is going on....

"The Commerce Department’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration said Friday it plans to give up control over the body that manages Internet names and addresses. The action means that the U.S. government will relinquish its oversight of the Internet" [1]

Unless YA new regulations mean there is no oversight over YA, the answer has to be, No.

Like the broken clock right twice a day, SageB has stumbled onto a valid comparison:

An incompetent presidency and an incompetently administered website.

But incompetency is widespread. Other websites are even more incompetently run, and certainly (Cakewalk to Baghdad anyone?) we can all remember (except those insanely in denial) other even more incompetently run presidential administrations. There is no necessary causal relationship between all these examples of ineptitude, and millions of others too. S---, like many fake questions here, happens.

Hi Sagey, Does the president own the internet? He can't give what he does not possese.

No not really, Obama simply doesn't have a clue how the real world operates. YA is just years behind.

And exactly how does Global Warming come into all of this.....?
