Cold, there wouldn't be so many mosquitoes, parasites, mice or any other pests, but I would have a limited garden opportunities. But I would never live in Siberia. In hot climates I imagion dieing from some tropical illness or being eaten by some animal like a shark.
Neither too hot nor too cold, in short perfect climate might do better. ;)
I was born in UK but now live in Philippines it is nice here, but I miss the seasons.

My Dad spent most of his life in Britain but for several years was posted to the Middle East and North Africa in WW2. He said if you're too cold it's easier (ie requires no technological assistance) to put on extra clothing or light a fire to get warm than it is to reduce your temperature if you're too hot. He was right.
