Was the Island nation of Vanuatu a nice place before the rising ocean obliterated it?

Rising ocean or sinking island? I know to an alarmist even plate tectonics is linked to Global Warming but in the real world it's not.

The Island Nation of Vanuatu was a nice place and still is. The rising ocean is a matter that they have to deal with because they are an archipelago. Some above water land was and is being taken over time.

It was and still is a nice place. Although the rising oceans may threaten the part of the island near sea level, it is unlikely to be completely obliterated as the highest peak on it is 3500 feet. You may be confusing the actual island nation of Vanuatu with Vanutu, a literary creation of Chrighton that he used to put forward his unscientific ideas about global warming.

"Obliterated"??

So what you are suggesting is that Vanatu simply disappeared?

You wouldn't be doing the 'drama-queen' thing.....would you??
