Some people are saying that global warming will lead to the end of civilization. If true, what needs to be done to fix this problem?

The issues of global warming and fossil fuel usage are certainly closely connected. The use of oil and natural resources will decline in a decade. But this would not reduce the carbon dioxide emissions automatically; the replacements with coal, heavy oil and tar sand contain even more carbon, if to make them produce the same amount of energy they will produce twice more carbon. But the fact is that all transport, roads and airports for this transport are useless without oil. To create a new transport system is a task for the whole society, not for an individual, besides it would need money, time, natural resources and a lot of brain power. So the previous arguments concerning a lot of money spent on the stopping or at least slowing the global warming can be put aside against these ones.

The projections made for the future state that Earth will be an ice planet without greenhouse effect, the Earth will get warmer, by the 2100 the temperature will be 1.5 C - 4.5 C warmer, the increase will be less in the southern hemisphere and greater in the northern hemisphere. The global temperature is connected with carbon dioxide level and methane level, which at the moment exceed greatly the past levels.

Is he end of civilisation THAT bad. If the effects of global warming do get uncontrollable the it will not destroy the planet as some claim but make the planet uninhabitable for the number of people on it.

This specific location could have only been pinpointed from outer space, because the only areas Global Warming covers is only iced areas even as our planet rotates. The device causing Global Warming is'nt man made, but Alien made in my opinion. To my Global Teams I'm known as Global command, but we're all civilians only interested in returning all seasons back to normal. We think My Triple Output that grows 4 times more food that was implemented may be the cause of the beginning of the end of Global Warming. I designed it to change slowly so all species can handle the slow change in climate. THERE'S ONLY ONE OTHER ITEM PEOPLE HAVE TO HANDLE AND THATS if they want to keep all Rivers that connect to the oceans, then they'll have to extract 60 feet of sand out of the bottom of all rivers to at least 500 feet into the ocean, so the tide comes n goes. ALSO IT WOULD'NT HURT TO CHANGE THE DIRECTION OF SPRING THAWS TO CIRCLE AROUND INSIDE OF AMERICAN TERRITORY, because as it is now all freshwater pours out into the oceans all over Earth. Mike.

By controlling pollution we can solve global warming.

First we need to stop using as much fossil fuel that we use now, gasoline and oil, burning of these causes damage to the ozone layer. Electric cars don't burn as much as gas fueled cars do. If we put more wind turbines and solar panels in then won't need to burn coal in some areas that use it to turn the turbines to make the energy. The solar panels and wind turbines could help in keeping costs of electric down too.

It is too late to be "solved," but we can still limit the causes and negative effects of it.
