Climate change what are the 4 gases essential for life?

Everything is a poison, it is just a question of concentration. Currently the atmosphere is likely CO2 deficient. During times with a greater concentration of CO2, plant life flourished far more than it does now.

Yet we can't breath highly concentrated carbon dioxide, and this where the argument fails. Arsenic is found in many foods, so therefore arsenic must be safe? Yes and no. It is all about concentrations, and that is where the argument in that article fails.

Carbon dioxide is needed for life, but at low concentrations. Naturally it occurs at low concentrations (in most environments, well any that are comfortable for human life to sustain). So the concern is that by increasing these concentrations what are the effects?

If a gas (or element or compound) exceeds an acceptable concentration level then it will be classified as a 'pollutant'. Quite simple and easy to follow I thought.

Edit: how do you remove humans (life) from the Earth if it exceeds 5000ppm over an eight hour period?

If the truth be known, all gases are essential for life. Our creator created the atmosphere to sustain life and only he knows. Man still has a lot to learn and it will be a while before we fully understand.

You are probably thinking, oxygen, nitrogen, water vapor and carbon dioxide. But other gases are essential for life, including nitrogen dioxide, ammonia, iodine and hydrogen sulfide.

To say that a gas being essential to life makes it non-polluting is a non sequiter. Anything in excess is harmful.

Everything that you link to from the "American Thinker" is idiotic. The name is a complete oxymoron.

I don't understand why you insist on being stupid. I think there are others in here that can't help it, but you seem to work at it.

You should keep in mind that none of the global warming deniers say that we don't need CO2.

Heck we need selenium, but too much of it will kill us.

But, CO2 does have side effects.

It's increase causes global warming.

Global warming is not a good thing.

China says that.

And they're not biased by American politics.

water is not a pollutant either, but too much can drown you. What does this have to do with global warming?

you missed CO2 is great in coke too.

I wonder what the CO2 level was here:
