Is this how alarmist mislead, Linlyons question on Barrow Alaska, temperatures soaring to 7c?

They always lean towards anything that implies warming when they should be showing energy imbalances like more intense hurricanes. The problem with these "climate clowns" is their clearly biased insinuations. There's rarely any inferences that show stability in our atmosphere, which has been prevailing within the climate since 1998 (the end of a naturally caused El Nino).

Again you are wrong. You choose to trust dishonest sources and thereby continue to make dishonest statements. You should be embarrassed.

The PDO does not explain the warming. There was a shift in 1976 to warm-dominance PDO, but a shift in the 1990 back to cool dominance. Why did you not mention that?

To control for PDO, compare the temperatures of the 1960s and 1970s to those post 1998, and especially those post 2009 as the the PDO indexes were comparable.

The study that Linlyons referred to did in fact control for the PDO. Obviously you didn't bother to look at the actual science. The information that Linyons gave you had already investigated the PDO.

For those who actually want to learn, the actual study is fully available online.

Is that the raw data? If it is, they must have moved the thermometer from a lousy location to a good location. If that is the case, I would like to see the corrected data.

The only one misleading is you and Steve Goddard/Tony Heller as Linlyons question was based entirely on the recently published paper studying 34 years of climate data (from 1979 to 2012. You and Tony Heller use a 1974 datapoint and attribute it to PDO.

Not only is 1974 outside of the scope of the study, the PDO claim is not substantiated at all. And then there's this little tidbit from Tony Hellers blog where he cites a University of Alaska article putting the following in bold "since 1977 little additional warming has occurred in Alaska" yet which is immediately followed by "with the exception of Barrow and a few other locations" which Heller did not bother to put in bold.

Then there's Heller UHI claim for which he present a paper without mentioning that said paper only studied Barrow winter temperatures during just 1 winter.

The only one misleading here is Tony Heller/Steve Goddard and the fact that it is so easy for him to mislead fake skeptics is quite obvious to real skeptics.

Ha! Ha! No mention of the CO2 level? Why is that? I thought that CO2 was the cause of temperature rise.

Also regarding Grungo's (Y!A censors do not accept the correct spelling from me) criticism, of the exception of Barrow, we are conversing on GLOBAL not local. As Kano was pointing out that this anomaly was seen only locally and has reason other than the greenie accepted GW caused by CO2 or other actions that greenies want to bring into play to enhance their twisted agenda.

the jump in 1974 was due to a PDO change
