Climate change is very real. Human acceleration of this change? This may be the part that is a myth. Do yourself a favor and read some books on the subject. While you're already on the Web, read extremist point of views from the far left as well as the far right, these are mostly opinion based and will give you no clear answer but it will inform you as to what others (including those "in charge") think is going on. There are also many documentaries at your disposal on Netflix as well as YouTube, just search" climate change" or "global warming" on either of the two. In any case, it is a smart idea to begin to implement "greener" practices into your life. Walk, bike, or carpool to work or school, recycle (although some say this is also a gimmick since we could have all biodegradable packaging which would require no recycling), be conscious of your energy and water consumption and get outside to breathe some fresh air and feed the plants with your own personal CO2 :)
"Climate Change" is and always has been a natural occurrence. There are too many variables that affect the climate:
1) Elevation - higher elevations mean colder climates
2) Prevailing winds - 3 prevailing winds in northern and southern hemisphere that affect climate
3) Latitude - a location of an area defines its climate
4) Angle - tilting of the earth at certain times of the year affects climate
5) Surface - the type of surface can hold more heat
6) Topography - the lay of the land like mountains effect the climate in certain areas
7) Time frame - decades of weather and averaging
8) Orbital variations - circulation patterns of the earth change. It also wobbles and affects the climate
9) Solar activity - The sun's radiational output increases and decreases
10) Ocean currents - The Gulf stream affects the climate of Great Britain for example
11) Cloud formation - clouds cool the earth's surface and affect the climate
12) PDO, AMO, AO - Air currents (jet streams) affect the climate
13) Cosmic Rays - Gamma rays released from exploding stars affect the climate
14) Seismic Activity - causes land to rise and fall and affects climate

"Climate Change" as it pertains to climate science's definition is a way to define what humans are doing to the climate which is very little. CO2 (the main concern) has but a fractional affect on the climate mainly due to the many other factors that drive the climate.
"Alarming Climate Change" is a myth.
Do humans have an affect on the climate? Yes, but very little. Size does matter when it comes to what affects the climate and humans are a very small part of it.
The earth is constantly changing climate, Since it first formed it has been doing so.
Man has some impact on the climate, but its not via greenhouse gases.
Man has made too many dams and dug too many wells, we have pushed the world into Anthropocene.
This is why its flooding more, and why wet places become wetter and dry places become drier, all the time global climate is also naturally changing as well.
You can survive climate change BUT You cannot survive Anthropocene.

Climate change is science. To deny the empirical evidence - and the studies, laws, and theories that identify, describe and explain the observations - is to deny physical reality.
The Denier claim that our observations are the result of "natural" phenomena is a deliberate lie. It is a tactic invented by Creationists that redefines "natural" to include things that have never been observed in nature and that have no scientific explanation - because they do not exist in nature and are unscientific.
Reality vs. Mythology:
Climate scientists have identified numerous natural climate cycles (such as, Milankovitch cycles) that recur at regular, mathematically determined intervals and whose existence can be explained scientifically (for example, by geophysical properties such as variability in the earth's axis and orbit).
Deniers claim that there are other "climate cycles" - however, Deniers have no scientific evidence; they do not know what the cycles are; they do not know when these cycles occur (recur); they have no scientific explanation; and they do not even have a scientific reason that think that the cycles should exist.
The AGW-Denier political agenda is based on the belief that you are too stupid to know the difference between science and mythology. It is up to you to think for yourself and prove them wrong.
Not a myth, ask any geologist. The Earth has gone through many climate changes. If you are wondering if we are currently experiencing a climate change then just look at Greenland and the ice caps. They are vanishing before our eyes; and if it's not climate change then what is it?
It is not a myth, but grossly exaggerated by emitting CO2 we have warmed the planet slightly but because of the limits of CO2 as a greenhouse gas not much more warming is possible, most of the warming we have experienced is natural and came from extreme sunspot cycles (Modern Maximum) the sun is starting a cooling phase now.

The only real reason there is any real doubt is because several corporations who don't want their profits interfered with use some doctored data to say otherwise and are promoting it even now so that they won't have to spend a lot more money finding other ways to make their profits. Amoral corporations are nothing more than money making machines whose soul purpose is to do just that: make as much money as possible. And if lying is cheaper than changing their ways, that's what they do. Even the corporations are starting to admit that it is happening. They are not admitting that our dumping billions of tons of gases into the atmosphere (CO2, methane and thousands of others) every year is responsible. Basically they are buying as much time as possible so they can spend the least amount of money to change while making the most money possible doing things the way they are. All I can suggest you do is learn as much science as you can and read the data available from thousands of independent sources and make up your own mind. Governments and corporations have a bad habit of not telling the whole truth about things, so it's a good idea to learn about how things work and study the facts yourself. Just remember to use a wide variety of data, not just what proves what you want it to.
