Depends if you believe it will occur or not and how far down the road you are wanting to invest. If you are wiling to wait long enough and you believe the predictions, you can invest in property that is predicted to be beachfront in the future.

If you think it is NOT going to happen, flood insurance companies selling to beachfront property owners would be a good investment.

If you have no idea one way or the other if it is real, but believe the US will act upon the assumption that it is, then solar companies would be a good investments. If you think the US will drag its feet, perhaps Chinese solar companies.

If you beleive some climate apocalypse is going to befall us, then invest in gold. It always rises in value during time of uncertainty.

Since climate change is happening now and will likely get worse, what businesses should I invest in to make money as things take a turn for the worst? I imagine they might be insurance companies servicing coastal areas and ares prone to wild fires?

The companies I see doing the best if the global temperature were to increase are companies that make air conditioning equipment. (Carrier, Crane, York etc).

Companies that provide solar panels

Companies that sell batteries

These 4 short YouTube clips may provide clues (Dr David Evans):

a) you want to invest in insurance companies that are NOT paying claims.

b) coal, oil, and natural gas.

Ambulance chaser? Laugh all the way to the bank, right? That is truly disgusting. I do not wish you any luck.
