Has anyone noticed that more life thrives where it is warm?

Compare the poles to the tropics.

Yes, particularly viruses and bacteria.

Humans and tropical conditions are not the best mix, which is why we headed into tropical rainforests only recently (compared to other habitats).

Yet in terms of the ocean, the poles are more productive then the tropics. The tropics have less nutrients then the poles as well.

And the tropics just have a lager diversity.

They are both extremely important, and work together to make a happy healthy planet. :)

As climate change has warmed the Earth, oceans have responded more slowly than land environments. But scientific research is finding that marine ecosystems can be far more sensitive to even the most modest temperature change.

Global warming caused by human activities that emit heat-trapping carbon dioxide has raised the average global temperature by about 1°F (0.6°C) over the past century. In the oceans, this change has only been about 0.18°F (0.1°C). This warming has occurred from the surface to a depth of about 2,300 feet (700 meters), where most marine life thrives.

Perhaps the ocean organism most vulnerable to temperature change is coral. There is evidence that reefs will bleach (eject their symbiotic algae) at even a slight persistent temperature rise. Bleaching slows coral growth, makes them susceptible to disease, and can lead to large-scale reef die-off.

Other organisms affected by temperature change include krill, an extremely important link at the base of the food chain. Research has shown that krill reproduce in significantly smaller numbers when ocean temperatures rise. This can have a cascading effect by disrupting the life cycle of krill eaters, such as penguins and seals which in turn causes food shortages for higher predators

Rain forests, yes. But generally hot climates, deserts e.t.c nope. The poles have life, it's just mainly in the sea or lots of different types of birds. Most of the animals are hunted for stupid 'excuses' and have become extinct.

I have noticed that you and most Deniers are the most stupid people in the developed world.

Compare tropical and temperate climates. The tropics indeed have greater biodiversity – unfortunately that is negatively correlated with growing agricultural crops and positively correlated with that diseases and pathogens that are the greatest human health risks.

Sarcasm is for adults - not people who only swim in the shallow end of the pool. You are better off sticking with the arrogant-idiot routine - it's honest and does not require any intelligence.

And in the deserts where it is even warmer life does not thrive, massive logic fail for you

What? That is just crazy talk. The world is warming and will destroy us all. Now go bang your head of the alarmist wall of enlightment until you see why you are wrong.

Gary F,

I forgot to thank you once again for sharing your wisdom and knowledge with all of us stupid people . Thank you, you beautiful mentally elite person, you. I enjoy basking in the glory of your eminent intelligence.

like the Sahara desert?

yes

The warming oceans are beginning to eliminate some plant life in the rain forest

Climate change has brought severe drought to the Congo rainforest So where once we had a lush forest, much of this may die due to continued warming

Compare the poles to the tropics.

Has anyone noticed that humans thrive in the temperate zone more than in the hot tropics? Economic productivity - i.e. income -- is triple in the temperate zone.

But go on. I think you were trying to make a non-stupid statement.

That is true. Rainforests are worm and there for better for plants. One important thing is that it has to have rain to really have plants. Like sahara and south america. Low mineral level in the ground is kind of a problem thou.
