Jello, you forget, liberals have very short memories. We could have 18 years or even 30 years of no warming and then in year 19 (or 31) it warms (say, by 0.6 degrees). All the alarmists will be jumping up and down proclaiming the dire consequenses of catastrophic global warming. They will construct models based on that year, and show how much trouble lies ahead.
There is no limit for the hard core alarmist.

Laughably, the alarmists will desperately try to spin every meteorological phenemenon on global warming. If hurricane totals are up, it's because of global warming. If hurricane totals are down, it's because of global warming. If it's 30 below zero, it's because of global warming, if the wind is blowing 10 mph from the SW, it's because of global warming...
No number of years will stop them from saying global warming is continuing. Climate 'Realist' will post that the 50 warmest years on record have happened in the last 50 years.
