How are you preparing to help combat catastrophic climate change?

Posted at: 2015-03-12
I am preparing to go "off grid". Putting solar panels on my roof to generate electricity and hot water in summer. During the winter months I am to close to the pole to generate enough electricity during winter so I am thinking about using a "fuel cell" to generate electricity and heat during this time. I will still be using natural gas in winter, but I am already using that to heat my home. Using the natural gas to generate electricity and the waste heat to heat the home and water seems like a win win to me. If I am able to generate enough electricity, I could even run my car on it.

Now I am planning to do this because I think it is cheaper and I like being independent.

You can always tell when the losing side of the argument knows it has lost. It always claims victory by saying 'the debate is over'.

1. Evolution - the debate is over.

2. Climate Change - the debate is over.

And to prove my point conclusively:

3. Barack Obama just declared yesterday, "The debate is over." His ObamaCare has been considered a success.

Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! All losers, when all is lost, declare a victory and stop debate. You are losing and the whole world knows it. Ha! Ha! You are so visible!

Since the global mean temperature for 2013 was 58.1F or 58.3F (depending on the source) , the 1998 global temp was the same 58.3F and all the intervening years were between 57.9F & 58.39F.

I'm preparing to keep on doing exactly the same things I've been doing for the past 16 years because it seems to be working remarkably well.

58.2 plus or minus .2 = zero change

Oh nooos. Alarmist have assured me that there is no such thing as Catastrophic Climate Change. Well, actually they want to say Climate Change will be catastrophic to scare you into believing their religion and then claim that they never said it would be catastrophic.

"Yes, climate change will be catastrophic but we never said it will be catastrophic."

Somehow this makes perfect sense to them. But then so does saying that there is NO global warming pause while at the same time explaining why there IS a global warming pause. Reality is totally meaningless to most of them now.

If the debate is over, why are you debating? Action without a purpose is nothing short of flailing around. That is what Chicken Little did when he was sure the sky was falling. I think even Mr. Little eventually figured out that he really didn't have that much to worry about.

We have decided here that it is not going to be catastrophic.

Also, the IPCC cannot explain enough to be convincing yet. For instance the recent 17 years of temperature pause was not predicted. One of the graphs was, allegedly, caused by man but the other one was not. So they are not sure what caused the other one.

So, yes, we all think that man-made CO2 is causing warming but we are not certain how much or whether it will cause a problem. Neither is the IPCC but their jobs depend more on causing alarm than telling the whole truth.

One of the authors of their most recent report asked for his name to be removed because the report was too alarmist in his view.

I moved to live in the Philippines, it is nice and warm here, now that our sun has entered a modern solar minimum, it is going to get colder and wetter, like it did during the little ice age.

Is this the climate change your talking about http://wattsupwiththat.com/2014/04/01/it...

What global warming? It's been cooling for at least 12 years.

Top climate scientists say there is no man-made Global Warming.

The Great Global Warming Swindle

Nothing because it isn't going to happen unless an asteroid collides with earth.

Yes, you've nailed it. Think globally, act locally.

The debate is over - it's happening, humans are the primary contributors, and it's going to be bad - very bad - unless we get our collective heads our of our hip pockets and act!

Its a hoax and stopped in 1998

Uhmm...no. You're flat wrong.
