Hello. Can someone please compare the effect of CO2, N2O and CCl3F on global warming?

N2O and CCl3F both absorb more strongly in the infrared than CO2, but they are present in much smaller amounts. Human-induced emissions of CCl3F are a minor contributor to the Earth's enhanced greenhouse effect, adding a radiative forcing ≈ 0.07 Watts/m (IPCC). The contributions from other gases are listed below.

Carbon dioxide: 1.5 Watts per square meter.

Methane: 0.5 Watts per square meter.

Nitrous oxide: 0.2 Watts per square meter.

Halocarbons: 0.2 Watts per square meter.

Total from all greenhouse gases: 2.4 Watts per square meter.

CO2. Scientifically, no affect. The Earth's temperature has declined over the last decade. Yet CO2 level has risen. No correlation.

N2O. Otherwise known as laughing gas. There is no suspicion of this being a gas detrimental to the atmosphere, thus no serious studies have been performed. Nitrous oxide is emitted by bacteria in soils and oceans, and thus has been a part of Earth's atmosphere for aeons. Since it is theoretically considered a 'greenhouse gas' by its construction of three atoms it is considered by some to be dangerous. However, since it was here before man walked the earth and man isn't creating anything above normal, it can't be taxed and our 'environmentalists' have judiciously shied away from attacking that as a global warming gas.

R12 has been used as a refrigerant since the early 1900s. It was developed in part by Charles Kettering, a true scientist and originator of many useful patents. The ozone layer was discovered in 1913 by the French physicists Charles Fabry and Henri Buisson. Its properties were explored in detail by the British meteorologist G. M. B. Dobson, who developed a simple spectrophotometer (the Dobsonmeter) that could be used to measure stratospheric ozone from the ground. Between 1928 and 1958 Dobson established a worldwide network of ozone monitoring stations. By the mid 1970, just less than twenty years after monitoring the ozone was completed throughout the earth, it was determined that a hole was developing in the Ozone layer. Before it was determined if this was a normal function or not, it was grasped by the 'environmentalists' as a crises and that R12 was the cause.. All production of R12 was stopped and the hole went away. Now that another hole, and one more sever than the one over Australia came about, the scientists are clamoring to somehow pin this on mankind. Rather than admit that they have egg on their face they look the other way or make more lame excuses.

N2O and CCl3F are stronger greenhouse gases than carbon dioxide, but carbon dioxide is being released in far greater quantities into the atmosphere. We are emitting so much carbon dioxide into the atmosphere that it has a greater effect than the very small amounts of N2O and CCl3F that we are putting into the atmosphere.

CCl3F from leaking air conditioners may contribute to the urban heat island effect.

There is no comparism in this three pollutant. CO2 is the pollutant responsible for global warming becos it help to retain infra-rays. NO2 is the cause of acid rain. CCL3F is the cause of deplesion of ozone layer.
