Is this severe weather?

Posted at: 2015-03-12
42F@10pm isn't anything out of the ordinary for Charlotte this time of year.

Actually the whole country seems to me to be having a pretty normal cold winter.

The only difference is the cold arctic blast that blows down from the north every few winters is now called a polar vortex instead of an Alberta clipper or a Canadian zephyr.

I guess the TV weathermen have to come up with a new name for the same old thing every now & then to just make their boring work sound interesting.

Sorry your link is not working

It's weather period

weather is what weather does

Look at Saturday, and if you look at this question late, its the January 11, 2014 Saturday.
