What is a social, economic and environmental effect of climate change?

Can you please tell me one social, economic and environmental effect of climate change?

Thanks.

While the effects the "experts" tell us will happen are serious, they never seem to happen:

Get a good grip on your long johns, cold weather haters--the worst may be yet to come. That's the long-long-range weather forecast being given out by "climatologists." the people who study very long-term world weather trends…. Washington Post January 11, 1970

A global warming trend could bring heat waves, dust-dry farmland and disease, the experts said... Under this scenario, the resort town of Ocean City, Md., will lose 39 feet of shoreline by 2000 and a total of 85 feet within the next 25 years - San Jose Mercury News - June 11, 1986

"(By) 1995, the greenhouse effect would be desolating the heartlands of North America and Eurasia with horrific drought, causing crop failures and food riots... "(By 1996) The Platte River of Nebraska would be dry, while a continent-wide black blizzard of prairie topsoil will stop traffic on interstates, strip paint from houses and shut down computers... "The Mexican police will round up illegal American migrants surging into Mexico seeking work as field hands". - Michael Oppenheimer, The Environmental Defense Fund - "Dead Heat" 1990

The social economic and environmental effects of climate change POLICIES are huge, people need cheap reliable energy, the poor people of this world ravage the environment cutting down trees for firewood destroying their environment because they need to feed their families, they know it is not right, but what can they do? if their children are hungry they forget about the environment, only well off westerners can have the luxury of caring for the environment.

An economic effect is that the politicians will tax the living day lights out of the middle class and the poor. The bilderberg group are a key driving force behind carbon tax scam.

One effect could be that students have to read textbooks on climate change, and do homework on it, on their own, without asking others to do 100% of it for them.

e.g. shifts in climate and weather patterns (extreme rainfall events, flooding, or increased variability in seasonal rainfall) has the ability to affect crop production and agricultural output (because plant growth is affected i.e. an environmental effect).

In Sub Saharan Africa for example, where livelihoods of individuals are highly dependent upon subsistence agriculture, the income of local / subsistence farmers can be greatly affected by such reductions in crop yield etc. (social impact) and if they are particularly sensitive and vulnerable to the impacts, without any adaptation/coping strategies, over time, this can increase poverty etc (i.e. economic impact).

Economic impacts also include major damage to city infrastructure through flooding associated with sea level rise.

Does that help you?

Here's a nice list of the positive and negative (mostly negative) effects of global warming: http://www.skepticalscience.com/global-w...
