Was Al Gore right when he said that we wouldn't have any ice to measure by now?

This shows that we have an increase in ice, not a melting away.

There used to be a video of Big Al saying "Five more years" on YouTube. Strangely, it vanished some time ago.

However, by the magic of the Internet, here it is again:

Al Gore is the smartest man in the world by a taking faulty unconfirmed science and passing it off as an absolute truth. Therefore he should be studied and admired. He made over $100 million telling fools basically that the sky is going to fall. He is a real life Chicken Little that turned it into a cash machine.

Al gore tells you to conserve energy while he flies around the world in a gas guzzling personal jet. He also has the highest energy bill in his town for kilowatt hour electron consumption.

At first it was global warming and then it was an ice age. His science is like a weather vane that changes with the wind. Each day he wets his thumb and sticks it high up into the air to see which way to blow global warming.

Wrong, Sagebrush. What it shows is a 50% in the Arctic sea ice volume over last year's record melt in the Arctic sea ice loss. Only the most contorted of thoughts would even hint at this being a sustainable recovery of the Arctic sea ice volume. You are also setting yourself up for a trap. What happens to your failed logic if the next melt season witnesses even greater Arctic sea ice losses than the recent record loss during the melt season? You'd be in a pickle to explain that one, would you not? ... What are the long term trends concerning the Arctic sea ice, Sagebrush?

I hope that your strange fascination with Al Gore is just a winter fling.

Lol... I love how the alarmists hate that skeptics talk about Al Gore in the GLOBAL WARMING section on YA.

Emphasis on warming only when anomalies show cooling. A 0.012% change in the atmosphere isn't going to "force" anything including Arctic Sea Ice.

You're right about "the one who controls the message controls the masses". These idiot scientists who make proclamations without definitive proof need to go back to "studying" and stay away from "proclamations". They make politicians like Al Gore look even more devious than he already is.

Since All Gore did not say what you claimed he said, it means this question is based on a false premise and unanswerable as posted.

Breitbart dot com (shown to have engaged in fraudulent reporting [1]) seems to have cherry picked from an article published in the independent [2]. And once again, using your own "logic" not only do you support fraudsters, you misquoted the article you link to, proving yourself to be a liar who supports frauds. Please make a note of that.

P.S. You did not disappoint. ( ?° ?? ?°)

Edit:

"There used to be a video of Big Al saying "Five more years" on YouTube. Strangely, it vanished some time ago. However, by the magic of the Internet, here it is again"

Two false claims by a denier and at least 4 deniers fell for it, too funny.

a) Nowhere did All Gore say "five more years" (If you bother to listen to it he sites two different sources who both give different projections.)

b) Nor did the video vanish. As per your own link, it was uploaded on Dec 16, 2009 on youtube where it is still available today. (It is also still available in full on Fora dot tv [3] where it was first published on December 14 2009).

P.S. The 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference, commonly known as the Copenhagen Summit, was held at the Bella Center in Copenhagen, Denmark, between 7 and 18 December. [5]

Gore is like Ehrlich and a whole slew of leftists who make all sorts of dire predictions. When their predictions don't come true, they either make more dire predictions or move on to something else or both. Forest Gore makes Forest Gump look like a genius. I got to give some credit to Gore. He was certainly able to use his influence to make a half billion dollars selling his network to Al Jazeera and crony capitalist greenies. That is what passes for capitalism to alarmists. As Gore famously said, there is no legal controlling authority.

The only place where Algore was correct in that assessment is in the computer generated earth in his movie. Of course movies sell because they are fantasy fictions that provide an escape from the mundane real world experience.

Proper response by skeptics to Al Gore is 'If you like your ice, you can keep it.'

Another lazy denier who didnt bother to read the link they posted : "Gore stated that computer models reflect "that there is a 75% chance that the entire north polarized cap during some of the summer months could be completely ice free during the next 5-7 years.""

Any other aces up your sleeve?

EDIT - what I posted above was what Gore was quoted as saying in the link you provided. Didnt you or the other angry simpletons bother actually reading what you posted???

This shows that we have an increase in ice, not a melting away.

It is always denialists who want to talk about Al Gore.

>>This shows that we have an increase in ice, not a melting away.<<

The only thing it shows is that you are even less honest than Al Gore.

You don't have very high personal standards, huh?

No, and besides I am much more concerned about his repeated reports of his sightings of Man-Bear-Pig and how that will effect Humanity in the end. Will Al Gore be able to save us from this Horror!!!!

He would not have been right, had he said that--but he didn't say it.

It is quite amazing the fetish you guys have for Al Gore. As someone who never voted for him, didn't much care for his movie, and never read any of his books, I don't understand the fascination that deniers have with him.

Hurricanes have increased in number and intensity as well- just like Big Al said they would.

Except that you're lying

Apparently he was wrong but then again he made a layman's guess and he is not a climatologist so what does it matter?

What do you expect from a politician when did they ever speak the truth.

Graphicc.....good catch!

Jungle Jim......looks like you've been served!
