I think we are heading for cooling. If solar activity continues to decline, then we are heading for cooling without doubt. Our current solar cycle is the smallest in about a hundred years. But will that be a trend? Probably so, according to scientists that study such things.

I certainly hope so! Last year during the polar vortex I took my snowboard to a local golf course and actually got to carve on 6" of powder. The nearest southern ski resort is 4 hours away. But that golf course was a sweet 400M run until the next day when the sun came out and melted all the snow. Curse that global warming!

Could be. If the planet isn't warming it's cooling, and if it's not cooling, the planet is warming. This is all natural and not caused by a 0.02% increase in co2 over the last 100 years.

sunspots have a 11 year cycle, and it is a cycle- not a long term trend, it's not cosmic rays or unicorns either.
